A toxicology expert has revealed four possible reasons why authorities are yet to receive test results for two Saudi Arabian sisters found dead in their apartment.
Asra Abdullah Alsehli, 24, and Amaal Abdullah Alsehli, 23, were found dead under ‘suspicious circumstances’ inside their apartment in Canterbury, in Sydney’s west, on June 7.
Police believe the women, who were found in separate bedrooms, may have been dead for a month before officers discovered their decomposing bodies while conducting a welfare check.
Despite previously insisting the toxicology tests were being ‘fast-tracked’, almost two months later police are still yet to be handed the reports – which usually only take four to six weeks.
