Aussie cyclist Josh Duffy was involved in a horrific cycling crash at the Commonwealth Games which sent Britain’s Matt Wells flying into the crowd and saw another rider carried off on a stretcher.
The multi-rider accident occurred in the second qualifying heat of the men’s 15km scratch qualifying, with the Isle of Man’s Matt Bostock taken away on a stretcher after also colliding with the barrier
Fortunately he didn’t land in the crowd, while Walls, 24, received treatment for more than 40 minutes before being taken away by ambulance.
British Cycling later confirmed on social media that Walls and Bostock were both taken to hospital.
