This is the spot where Jake McLean lost his life in a horror smash that left Towie star Yazmin Oukhellou seriously hurt in hospital when their car careered off a bend and landed upside down in a ravine, MailOnline can reveal.

Jake is believed to have lost control as he came hurtling around a sweeping bend and crashed into a road sign, which was left mangled.

Yazmin, 28, is stable and recovering in hospital after surgery, her spokeswoman told MailOnline. The TV star’s mum Lisa flew out to Turkey on Sunday to be by her daughter’s side.

The spokeswoman added: ‘Yazmin and her family have requested privacy at this time.’
