Georgie Tunny has praised Ghislaine Maxwell’s 20-year jail sentence as a ‘win for women and the MeToo movement’ – but blasted the US Supreme Court for overturning women’s rights to an abortion.
Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison for trafficking young girls on behalf of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein who died in jail in 2019.
The Project host spoke to Lisa Bloom, who represents several Epstein victims, outlining her thoughts on the high-profile American case and asking the lawyer about social divisions sparking anger in the US.
