Ravens linebacker who died under questionable circumstances cause of death is yet to be determined’

The family of Baltimore Ravens linebacker Jaylon Ferguson, who died suddenly on Tuesday night, have released a statement in an attempt to quell speculation over the 26-year-old’s cause of death.

In a posting by Ferguson’s fiancée, Doni Smith to social media read ‘despite the speculation in earlier reports, at this point in time the cause of Jaylon’s death has yet to be determined.’

Police have said that there were no signs of trauma or foul play although they are ‘not ruling out the possibility of an overdose’ in Ferguson’s ‘questionable death’.

Ferguson was found unresponsive at a home in Baltimore. Medics on the scene attempted to revive him but he could not be saved.
