A New York City detective was wounded in a daylight shooting in Brooklyn after a bullet smashed through his cruiser window.
An unidentified detective, 26, was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition with a shoulder injury after being involved in a shooting near Pitkin Avenue and Legion Street in Brownsville around 4.30pm on Thursday.
The cop was also transported to the hospital, both with non-life-threatening injuries.
The five-year veteran of the force was reportedly stopped at a traffic light when ‘at least one round’ shattered the window by a man on foot.
It is unclear if the bullet hit the officer or if he was hurt from the glass window shards.
