Johnny Depp-related memorabilia has surged in value in the wake of the actor’s highly-publicized defamation trial.
The company Propstore on Tuesday sold a prop from the actor’s 1990 movie Edward Scissorhands – an insert hand with scissors the star wore in the motion picture – for $81,250, TMZ reported on Wednesday.
The total nearly doubled the projected value of the prop, as experts last month estimated the piece of film memorabilia was expected to sell in a range between $30,000 and $50,000, according to the outlet.
