New bride dies in honeymoon golf buggy crash ten days after wedding when husband overturns vehicle

A newlywed bride has died on her honeymoon in a horror golf buggy accident just 10 days after her wedding.

Marina Morgan, 29, died in Queensland, Australia, after her new husband Robby overturned the vehicle while trying to perform a U-turn when it was low on battery.

Robby was uninjured but Marina tragically died at the scene on Whitsunday Boulevard on Hamilton Island.

A doctor, off-duty dentist and off-duty firefighter desperately tried to revive her, performing CPR for 35 minutes before she was pronounced dead.

Queensland Police Inspector Anthony Cowan said it was a ‘tragic accident’ adding there was ‘no indication of alcohol or dangerous driving’.
