Eric Greitens doubles down on ‘RINO hunting’ ad and says it was ‘clearly a metaphor’ 

U.S. Senate candidate Eric Greitens doubled down on his ‘RINO hunting’ ad, depicting him storming a home while firing shots, saying it was ‘clearly a metaphor.’

Greitens, 48, faced swift backlash following a campaign ad that showed him and an armed military squad breaking into a home and firing round after round of gunshots hunting for RINOs, Republicans In Name Only. 

Although the video was deleted from Facebook and flagged by Twitter, the Missouri Republican shrugged off the criticism and said he failed to see any problem with the ad. 

‘Every normal person around the state of Missouri saw that it’s clearly a metaphor,’ Greitens told KCMO Talk Radio on Tuesday.  

‘It’s entertaining to see the outrage from the RINO and liberal snowflakes around the country and around the state.’
