Man brutally slashes his girlfriend, 49, across the face and back during the busy early morning rush in a New York City subway station: Attacker, who was arrested for attempted murder in March, remains on the loose

• The woman was reported injured at 9:19 a.m. on Tuesday at Fulton Street Station
• She was seen sitting on the ground of the station surrounded by pools of blood
• Medics rushed the victim to Bellevue Hospital, where she’s in stable condition 
• The suspect is a 50-year-old man, who was arrested for attempted murder in March and assault in February
• He is still on the lamb but the NYPD knows who he is as well as his living address
• Details regarding the ‘domestic dispute’ leading to the violence remain unclear
