Cotswold cottage that is believed to be one of most photographed in Britain hits market for £1.8M

A quaint three-bed cottage that is believed to be one of the most photographed homes in the UK has gone on the market for £1.8million.

The Bridge House is in Castle Combe, Wiltshire, which is regularly voted as England’s prettiest village and attracts international tourists.

The Grade II-listed property has also featured on a host of postcards over the years and has been the subject of many paintings by amateur landscape artists.

The cottage overlooks the By Brook river with the view from the nearby bridge up the main street. It is one of the Cotswolds’ most iconic images due to its chocolate box looks and picturesque architecture.

The current owners even saw their home in an advert on a flight to America encouraging people to explore the Cotswolds.
