EXCLUSIVE: Kiwi thug who shattered a young reveller’s jaw with a ‘sack of stubbies’ after he gatecrashed a music festival is ordered to STAY in Australia to serve community service

• Jonathan Ewington must remain in Australia for two-and-a-half years 
• The 39-year old bashed his victim’s head in with a sack of stubbies  in 2019
• Tyson St Jacques, then aged 21, had gatecrashed a private music festival 
• He had left without incident when Ewington jumped a fence and chased him
• Ewington thought his victim had stolen beer and other items from the gig 
• He smashed Mr St Jacques’ jaw and teeth into pieces with the cowardly attack
