Alabama sheriff’s department releases new photos of inmate facing murder charges

An Alabama sheriff’s office shared the most recent surveillance photos it has of a convicted murderer as the search continues for the escaped inmate and a jail guard who was last seen escorting him out.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday shared the pictures of inmate Casey White, 38, as he walked the halls of the Lauderdale County Jail.

In the pictures, White could be seen apparently tucking something under his right sleeve and looking around as he was followed by a prison guard.

He was facing the death penalty for a 2015 murder and was supposed to always have two guards on him when Assistant Director of Corrections Vicky White, 56, picked up inmate Casey White, 38, from the Lauderdale County Jail at 9:41 a.m. on Friday.
