The touching moment Sir Paul McCartney, 79, ‘duetted’ with the late John Lennon

Paul McCartney projected documentary footage of his Beatles bandmate John Lennon as he returned to stage for the first time in three years.

The singer, 79, took to stage at Spokane Arena, Washington DC, for the opening night of his Got Back US Tour on Thursday.

And he projected footage of the late John Lennon, who was killed in 1980, behind him and ‘duetted’ with his bandmate for a touching rendition of I’ve Got A Feeling.

A touching photograph of the incredible moment showed Sir Paul performing on stage as John sang and played the guitar on a huge screen behind him.
