Daughter of murdered Lisa Knoefel describes her desperate attempt to save her mother

The biological daughter of Lisa Knoefel has described for the first time her desperate attempts to save her mother as she was stabbed to death in their Ohio home 10 years ago by her foster child.  

The mother-of-three was stabbed nearly 200 times by Sabrina Zunich in Willoughby Hills in November 2012 after she found out the then-17 year old was having an affair with her husband, Kevin Knoefel. 

Lisa Knoefel was a social worker and Zunich had been living with the family since she was 16 years old. 

During her trial, Zunich said she had fallen in love with her foster father, who was 42 at the time, and he had threatened suicide if his wife wasn’t killed.
