Texas mom is jailed for just 20 months after she admitted abusing all five of her children with a TASER and BB gun

• Ana Cruz-Trejo will appear in front of the 78th District Court in Texas to plead guilty to ten counts of negligence in exchange for a 20-month sentence
• It is not clear what prosecutors wanted Cruz-Trejo’s sentencing to look like at first but she is being held at the Wichita County Jail since May of last year
• The father, Jacob Lopez, is also in jail since March and has been charged with ten counts of injuring a child
• Wichita Falls Police arrested Lopez after he shot some of his children several times with a BB gun and also tased them as a form of ‘discipline’
• The children, three girls and two boys, are all eight or younger, and have wounds all over their bodies
