BREAKING NEWS: Worker dies on the job in horrific accident at a bowling alley

A 59-year-old man has been killed in a workplace related incident at a Brisbane bowling alley.

The worker reportedly died at Zone Bowling in Richlands in Brisbane on Monday morning during construction works.

It has been reported the man was using a grinder when he died, and something was lodged into his neck while using the machine.

He is understood to have died from extensive blood loss at the scene.

Queensland Ambulance confirmed they attended to an incident on Archerfield Road in Richlands at 8.43am yesterday, where paramedics responded to a person in a critical condition.

The business has been closed for renovations since May 9.
